Unofficial Solutions for QCQI
Quantum computation and quantum information is a rapidly developing field, and in the last decade there has been a lot of new process and inspiration. Nevertheless, the classical textbook “Quantum Computation and Quantum Information” by Michael A. Nielsen and Issac L. Chuang is still the indispensable one for beginners and for references. Sometimes it is reputed as the Bibles in this field and owns multiple merits, one of these is its pedagogical exercises. However, there is no official solutions for the exercise, and when I started to learn it, I came across many difficulties and had never finished all a set of questions of any chapter. Therefore, I would like to push myself to go through it again, to make my time seem not so meaningless, and hopefully it can be of a little help for someone in need.
The book referred here is the 10th Anniversary Edition that is reprinted by Tsinghua University Press in China Mainland. I have found some solutions by kindly ones, and they are of great help, some are listed below:
- https://serab.net/docs/qcqi/
But neither is complete, so I would try to write a new one to fill the blank. And one should also check the Errata List.
